2. Use algebra and matrices in problem solving
  1. Explore the basic tenets of algebra (linear programming: constraints, objective functions, and optimal solution)
3. Use sets, sequences and series in problem solving
  1. Explore the basic tenets of sequences and series (Arithmetic progression AP, Geometric progression GP)
  2. Find the general term for AP and GP and use them to derive formulae for the sums of APs and GPs
